Pragmaticum are paid on a time and materials basis by the claimant. This cost may in part be recoverable under the policy by prior agreement with Insurers or their loss adjusters, or under a separate policy to cover this. In addition to the basic fee there may be other incentives agreed with the client which are linked to key performance objectives. These are not claim quantum related but underpin the desire of both parties to recover the business quickly and as strong as ever. Such a basis of remuneration addresses the need for Pragmaticum to be professionally objective in terms of claims quantification (in the event of having to appear as an expert witness) and also aligning its commercial interest with that of the claimant. Wherever possible our services are introduced to potential clients before a loss occurs. This allows us to support the broker in setting the appropriate scope and level of cover as well as providing business continuity advice. |
