•    Leadership support
It is rare to find a senior management team who have any significant experience in disaster management and the requirements of preparing and negotiating an insurance claim. As a consequence it is valuable to have as a temporary member of this team advisors who can predict the issues that will occur and proven ways to deal with them. It is unlikely that we will have the same level of domain knowledge as the claimant but we can prevent inexperience hindering the business recovery

•    Communication
Possibly one of the most unrecognised part of a successful business recovery. The importance of consistent regular and frequent communication with Staff, Customers, Suppliers, Insurers and financial institutions cannot be overstated. We are able to provide some of this directly, but are able to assist in scripting the messaging to most accurately predict the future as far as it needs to be stated.

•    Business Process Re-engineering & Change Management
Where the incident has had a profound effect on the fabric and operation of the business there is a requirement for significant replacement. The opportunity therefore exists not just to rebuild as was but improve upon the past. We are able to advise on not just the way such activity will be regarded by the Insurer but also on many back office changes to improve the efficiency of the business.  

•    Program and Project Management
Where there is significant reconstruction that will cover diverse areas such as buildings, stock, plant and machinery, IT systems etc. It is essential that a comprehensive recovery programme is formed as soon as possible and agreed with Insurers.  Personnel with the necessary skills will then be required to manage the implementation of the recovery plan to budget. Where the client does not have such staff (available) we can supply experienced and proven individuals.
